TheDifference between Hinduism and Buddhism

Hinduismand Buddhism both trace their roots in India. Hinduism takes thethird position in the world in terms of religion magnitude. Buddhismbases their beliefs according to the teachings of Buddha whoflourished in the subcontinent of India several centuries back.Hinduism teaches its believers that each body that is living has aneternal soul, the spirit of the creator, Brahma(Nandan 30).The two religions despite sharing some similarities, they haveseveral differences.

Hinduismis founded on a non-prophesy basis no particular prophet guides thebeliefs of this faith. Buddha, their prophet guide Buddhismprinciples and practice. They are supposed to obey the teachings ofthis prophet. In Hindu religion, beliefs in supremacy and efficacy ofthe Vedas are given a center stage, while Buddhism fails to rely onthe Vedas, the scripture of the Hindus(Nandan 30).

Buddhismdoes not believe in the soul existence alongside their previouscause, who is typically perceived to be God. On the other hand,Hinduism believes that Atman exists he is Brahman the individualsoul and the creator. They also welcome the notion that Buddha is theMahavishnu incarnation, he is considered to be one of the Hindutrinity gods. Buddhism has no belief in any of the Hinduism godsbeing equal or more powerful to their God, Buddha. They organizethemselves in the order of monastic that is Sangha, on which the monkstays in groups(Nandan 31).

Inconclusion, the two religions are interesting to examine and assesstheir beliefs as they don`t differ that much, adding on the fact theyboth originated in the subcontinent of India. The believers of eachreligion respect one another as they share most of their religiousarts despite the differences discussed above. In line with thesereasons, I decided to research on this question.

FromMoghuls to Independence Video Review

Thenarrator, Derek Hobson explains to us in the video about the ancientChina, religious beliefs and the China civilization. There areseveral factors I get fascinating in the video, especially theChinese architectural works. That work in hand with their religiousviews alongside the teachings. The early civilization in China tracesback to 3500 years. China is considered to be the land of mystery. Inearly times it was symbolized by lions.

TheChinese legends believe that in the past there was great chaos(Hobson). The sky and earth were like the yolk and the white of an egg aspresented in the video. The land and the sky were formed, whichstretched in size as years passed on. The history of China buildingsand their architectural works is usually symbolic in nature andlinked to the spiritual world. It has more than just one religion. The early economic activities of China included tea farming. Thehistory of china`s religious activities is complicated as presentedby the expert analyzer Prof Baker. No one can have full knowledge ofit.
